Windows 10, Firefox – User does not receive any email link after clicking on “reset password”
- go to https://jpi-web-preprod.brightsites.co.uk/settings
- choose the scotsman
- click on menu and click on public notices
- click on “SIGN IN OR SIGN UP” at the top right corner.
- enter details and sign up
- now enter same details in sign in form and sign in
Here there are few issues..
a. after I signed up I was not logged in nor I was given any indication whether the sign up is successful.
b. so I tried to sign up with the same email again and verified whether sign up is successful.. I found out that sign up was successful as ’email is taken’ message is seen when tried to sign up using same email
c. Now I tried to sign in using same credentials.. after clicking on sign in, sign in form disappeared so I assumed signing in successful, but SIGN IN OR SIGN UP link was still displayed..So I clicked on it and sign up and sign in form was opened..
so bottomline is there was no indication about sign up successful and sign in was not successful as after signing in I was still in same page with SIGN IN OR SIGN UP link still displayed.
a. there should be indication about sign up successful
b. it must be possible to sign in successfully with the created account
